Janis Logue

Janis started her career in the legal field six years ago as a Litigation Paralegal for a law firm south of Atlanta, Ga. She joined C. Ron Smith Attorney at Law as Marketing Director when the firm opened its doors. She is responsible for brand messaging, online presence, advertising, and community relations efforts. Janis is proud to work for Attorney Ron Smith, where our commitment to treating clients with dignity, respect and compassion are also true core values of every team member at the firm. Janis retired from Delta Air Lines after almost 25 years of service, working most recently as a manager in the Corporate Communications organization covering news media relations, and leadership and employee communications at the airline’s headquarters in Atlanta. She is originally from the Chicago area, born and raised a Cubs fan. (Go Cubs, Go!) Outside the office, she enjoys traveling the world and sailing with her husband of more than 25 years anywhere the trade winds take them.

Sandy Miller

Sandy has been a paralegal for more than ten years, six of which have been civil litigation focused. She has handled litigation cases in Magistrate, State, Federal, and Appellate Courts. She started her career at a large firm in Atlanta, but loves working at C. Ron Smith Attorney at Law where she feels clients get the time and attention they deserve instead of being clumped into too large a case load like in most large firms. Her favorite aspects of her job include working with clients to help them navigate their injuries as well as assisting Ron Smith in trial. When not at work, Sandy enjoys spending time with her husband, keeping up with her young son, and visiting her parents who live close by. She is a self-proclaimed “Disney junkie” and her love for the theme park has only increased since having a child.

Jennifer Cole

Jennifer has been a paralegal for more than 16 years with 14 of those years solely dedicated to personal injury law, and the last three plus years focused on civil litigation. She has handled litigation cases in Magistrate, State, Superior, and Federal Courts. She started her career at a small, general practice firm working for the Honorable Judge Stephen E. Boswell. When Judge Boswell was elected back to the bench and closed his private practice, she took a hiatus from law and worked several years in Finance at Allan Vigil Ford. She missed working in the law field so she went to work for a large firm in Atlanta where she met and worked alongside Mr. Smith. Jennifer enjoys working for C. Ron Smith Attorney at Law because of the way that Mr. Smith truly cares about each and every client the firm represents. Her favorite aspect of her job is helping guide and assist clients through the personal injury process, a process that many have never had to navigate. She also enjoys investigating and helping put all the puzzle pieces of a case together to make sure the firm builds the strongest case possible for the clients. When not at work, Jennifer enjoys creating arts and crafts, DIY projects, spending time with family and friends, traveling with her husband, visiting her daughter at college in Athens and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs!

A True Georgia Native He was born in Newnan, Georgia and has lived here all of his life. He graduated from Fayette County High School in 1987 and the University of Georgia in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Upon graduation from the University of Georgia, he went to Atlanta Law School and graduated with honors in 1994. Ron also passed the Georgia Bar in 1994 and has practiced law since then. Ron has always worked in the personal injury sector of the law for plaintiffs. His career began with prominent Atlanta Attorney Marc Davis as his associate and after five years, he went to work at a major Atlanta personal injury firm. Ron was there for 13 years. Prior to the launch of his office, he spent two years as the managing attorney for a personal injury law firm south of Atlanta. In his free time, he enjoys water and snow skiing and fishing when he can. He has been married to his high school sweetheart for 25 years. Ron and his wife have three beautiful daughters.

Emilie Watson

Emilie began her career as a paralegal in January 2021, after graduating from Georgia Military College in July 2020. Prior to completing her studies she worked in the medical field as a medical records and recall coordinator for six years. Emilie is excited to be a part of the Attorney Ron Smith team where she contributes by drafting letters, doing medical research and using her advanced computer skills. Her prior experience in the medical field assists her in understanding the medical research required to help build a strong case for the firm’s clients. She enjoys the team and the atmosphere of this office as she continues to learn more and more about the legal field. Outside of the office she enjoys being with family, church and swimming and most of all watching the Georgia Bulldogs and her favorite driver in the NASCAR series, Chase Elliott.
